Serving

You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many (Jesus’ reply, Mark 10:43-45).

Encouragement

ROMANS 8:31, 38-39
31: What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?38: For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,39: Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to seperate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

PHILIPPIANS 1:6, 4:6-7, 13, 19
1:6 - Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ4:6 - Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God.7: - And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.13: - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.19: - But my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

MATTHEW 18:19-20
19: Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.20: For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

2 CORINTHIANS 12:9-10
9: And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.10: Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reprouches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distress for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

1 PETER 5:6-10
6: Humble yourself therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time:7: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.8: Be sober, be vigilant; because your advisary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour;9: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world,10: But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablished, strengthen, settle you.

EPHESIANS 6:10-18
10: Finally, my brethren, br strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.11: Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.12: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.13: Wherefore take unto you the whole armour if God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.14: Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;15: And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;16: Abouve all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.17: And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:18: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Teaching...

The task of the modern educator is not to cut down jungles, but to irrigate deserts. C. S. Lewis

The Future

The future is something which everyone reaches at the rate of 60 minutes an hour, whatever he does, whoever he is. C. S. Lewis

Education

Education without values, as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil. C. S. Lewis
